I'm Shani, I'm an Artist and Designer living and working in the heart of Constable Country near the Suffolk and Essex border in the UK.
I studied at Ipswich Art School where I intended to work in Graphic Design, but instead went on to become a gilder, mostly working on restoration, appling fine gold leaf to various surfaces and idols mainly for London galleries and private collectors.
Now I work at home where I live with my husband Mark and two Tibetan Terriers, Bertie and Biggles, who provide plenty of inspiration for my work.
I do mainly Tibetan Terrier designs including, but not limited to acrylic, pyrography, brusho, watercolour and inktense pencils, as my two muses provide endless inspiration. I am constantly adding to my Pastel and Friends series which is again Tibetan Terriers with a whimiscal approach and 10% of those sales go to Independent Tibetan Terrier Rescue here in the UK. Most of my designs are featured on products on sites which can be found on my 'Buy' page, including fabrics.
My two muses, my boys Biggles and Bertie.
They provide endless ideas for my art.
